What is Spinal Flow?

The Spinal Flow Technique, developed by Dr. Carli Axford, is a science backed holistic healing approach that gently works with the central nervous system to promote healing.

Why work with the central nervous system?


The central nervous system, our brain and spinal cord, controls and coordinates every single function throughout our body. When there's an underlying issue in the nervous system, there's an affect on proper function in the body.


Life can be stressful!

Stress that builds up throughout our lives creates blockages along the spine and causes interference in the nervous system. These stressors can be physical, emotional, or chemical,


These blockages prevent the adequate flow of the cerebrospinal fluid and vital energy that keeps our body constantly moving towards homeostasis, our ideal state of health. When we release these stressors and move out of the sympathetic state of fight/flight and into a parasympathetic state, then our body can shift into healing mode.


The Spinal Flow Technique uses gentle precise touch on access points along the spine that promote brain and spinal cord communication allowing the body to recognize areas of ease, increase the spinal flow, and move you back toward a state of health and wellbeing. We assess 7 key areas of the spine, referred to as gateways, that help determine what's going on in your body and track changes.
